Introduction to Pomeranians:

Our passion for Pomeranians began with the purchase of Dudley. It didn't take long for us to be taken in by all the colors Pomeranians are available in which is where we got our name - if you've ever looked at a merle Pomeranian they look like they are Tiedyed! We specialize in producing all colors of Merle - Blue, Chocolate, and Orange in both solid and Parti; Blue, Lavender, Chocolate; Black; Black and Tan; Orange; Cream; Beaver - All in both solid and parti. We are always looking to add new colors and bloodlines to our breeding but are very selective where those bloodlines come from. We have learned from experience that genetic traits, like size and color, can show up in a Pom from several generations back. We have spent a lot of time improving our merle line. We have been focusing on smaller sized  merles with better haircoats and Teddybear look.  But it's our goal to properly represent the standard of the Pomeranian breed no matter what color they are.

There are often questions as to where the merle gene in Pomeranians came from and whether people bred Poms to other breeds of dogs to get it. One of the dogs that people often associate with the merle gene are Aussies. We have been breeding Pomeraninas for many years and have DNA'd our dogs (some Merles) as required by AKC. They have always come back showing our dogs to be pure Pomeranians. This is being thrown out to anyone that might have questions. If you would like to discuss this issue (or any other for that matter) please don't hesitate to contact us. We believe in being up front and honest with any aspect of our breeding. In saying that, all of our poms orginated from AKC breading stock but have since been switched to ACA.
